Ocular. came about after working alongside Thomas Pocklington Trust, with input from RNIB,
Macular Society, Nystagmus Network, Glaucoma UK and other sight condition specialists.

The aim was to create two projects, showing the deterioration of a
number of sightloss conditions in adults and young people.

Since then, ocular. has gone on to create a library of ready to use overlays and tools showing
sightloss conditions at different severities as well as offering a bespoke service across the world.
"This is the first time a video of this kind has been produced.
As an organisation, TPT aims to increase awareness and understanding
of the needs and aspirations of blind and partially sighted people.
Visual impairment varies greatly from person to person and is sometimes difficult
to demonstrate what people with the various conditions experience – until now."
"The portrayal and description of
individual conditions is very good"
"To be able to use such a descriptive tool will really
help raise awareness of vision impairment."
"This is a great resource and it’s brilliant to see the inclusion of so many scenarios…
These are real challenges for people, particularly when they’re adjusting to a vision loss"
